Like many have this year, baking has become a favourite pastime. I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria with smell of fresh bread, cookies and cakes coming out of a massive industrial style oven on Saturdays. As a result of this I grew up loving the smell of bakeries big and small, and obviously eating all the lovely goodies!
Now in my own home without easy access to my mum's baking and having more time - baking has come back into my life! I have explored various cakes and breads over the past few months and the most annoying thing I have discovered is how long it takes to get these treats into mouths!
So one of the most wonderful gifts I got for Christmas was a stand mixer! This brings back so many good memories of my childhood - all the mixers churning around dough and cake mix and the anticipation of stealing a bite from the fresh goods. Only over a few months old and have made a few cakes and pies - creating smiles for friends and family.
I love this time saver of an equipment already! A very welcomed addition to anyone who loves to bake many things at once but needs to cut time on preparation. As this stand mixer is a multi -one it also has some lovely additional features which come in handy including the food processor.
I love to feed I am excited for how more efficient this makes me and the fact that my wrist do not have to pay in all that mixing and kneading!
